Jackson Machinery was started in 1985 by Bob Jackson. The emphasis for the new company was to provide new and used blow molding equipment and accessories to the plastics industry. The business soon expanded by adding production capabilities necessary for the refurbishing of used equipment. The primary focus for refurbishing involved Hayssen blow molding machines. The refurbishing part of the business has since grown to include such lines as Bekum, Fischer, Improved and Sterling blow molding equipment.
At NPE 94 we introduced our first in-house designed and manufactured small bottle machine called the VersaMatic. Small to medium sized custom blow molders welcome the flexibility and modern technology that the Versamatic gives them and enjoy a great return on investment. The Versamatic also fills a need for entry level packagers to produce small quantities of bottles, cost effectively, in house.
Continuing to expand our product line at NPE 97, we introduced our FlexiMatic accumulator head blow molding machine. During the show this machine utilized our new Automated Work Cell Technology to produce totally finished and trimmed complex parts. Jackson Machinery provides complete computer aided design service to custom tailor each system specifically to the customers requirements. When designing systems we take on the role of a consultant for our customers. We understand the process, we select the equipment, and consider the economics. All systems are fully tested in our facility for customer evaluation before shipment.
Jackson Machinery continues to expand its services to the industry with the additions of control retro-fits, service parts, parison programmer retro-fits, in house or on site training seminars, and service technicians available for your processing and machinery repair needs.
